SS1 Exploring Weaving Options
Have you ever thought you might like to weave, but never tried it, perhaps scared of the apparent complexity? Learn how each type of loom works and enjoy time to play with them. Weave on three different types of looms: an inkle loom, a rigid heddle loom and a table loom, and discuss other ways to weave such as on a pin loom, or tablet (not demonstrated or taught in this course). At the end of the day, you will have a better idea about whether you want to weave and on which kind of loom you would like to begin. Equipment: None
