Two -day course

In this course, you will plan a weaving project for a set of tea-towels. You will select your colours and warp your loom ready to weave – and depending on how fast you work you may be well into your weaving, before you go home. The tutor will help you calculate the number of warps, the amount of material you need. You will need to ensure you have sufficient heddles on each shaft. The tutor will assist / guide you in planning your project, winding your warps and dressing your loom. This is a busy, active class.
Skill Level: Must know how to wind a warp, dress (thread up) a loom and work to a draw down (e.g. a threading diagram and a treading diagram)
Equipment: 4- or 8-shaft loom, cross sticks, shuttle, threading hook
