After a chequered past few years, Australia’s original craft event, the Stitches and Craft Show is set to take its place on the show calendar in 2013. Expertise Events have secured the original trademark from Reed Exhibitions.
Stitches and Craft Show, first held in 1987 at Rosehill, was the vision of George Pyne of World Trade Promotions. It was eventually acquired by Reed Exhibitions. The Stitches and Craft Show defied the pessimists by establishing itself as not only a much-loved event but one of the most successful annual consumer events.
In recent times when Stitches and Craft changed hands, the show eventually collapsed. Expertise Events filled this gap with the launch of the Craft and Sewing Show in the venues where the Stitches and Craft Shows were originally held.
After fruitful discussions with the original owners, Expertise Events has secured the name and original logo.
